To offer a reliable learning resource to caregivers whose child/ has been impacted by abuse or trauma so that families can feel informed and empowered to begin their journey to recovery.

We promote access to reliable and science-backed information on the mental health symptoms related to abuse and trauma in children. We believe strongly in taking a collaborative, family-centered, approach to promote healing and recovery from childhood abuse and trauma.

our partners
Our partners include the Child Abuse Service team housed within the Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre and Alberta Health Services. Luna is one of several Child Advocacy Centres (CAC) in North America. Several of the clinical staff at CAS have actively participated in the development of the COPE website and we are grateful for their valuable input and feedback.
